<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transliteration device, a transliteration program, a computer-readable recording medium in which the transliteration program is recorded and a method of transliteration, with those it can be more precisely specified than before if a transliterated character string is transliterated from the target character string, even if it is not clear from which language the target character string originates. <P>SOLUTION: The transliteration device 100 comprises a preparation section 105 which prepares a rewriting table for K different languages with a plurality of probability for transliteration to rewrite an original segment into a transliterated segment and a transliteration table for K languages. The transliteration device 100 comprises also an update part 107 which stores a transliteration probability, in the transliteration table for both languages, that a character string of original spelling in a language in the used rewriting table is transliterated into a character string of target spelling, then updates K rewriting tables to maximize the expectation value of likelihood function which calculates likelihood of K transliteration tables. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
