<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a package for an electrochemical cell which can be contributed for improving a product life, and an electrochemical cell. <P>SOLUTION: A package 2 for an electrochemical cell comprises: a ceramic recessed container 6 housing an active material 3 used as a positive electrode or a negative electrode and an electrolyte 4 using a non-aqueous solvent, and having a recess C with a first electrode layer 5 on its top face; a ceramic sealing plate 8 sealing the recess C of the recessed container 6 and having a second electrode layer 7; a first connection terminal 9 connected to the first electrode layer 5, penetrating through the recessed container 6 from the recess C to a side face or a bottom face, and extending to the bottom face of the recessed container 6; and a second connection terminal 10 electrically connected to the second electrode layer 7, extending to the bottom face of the recessed container 6, and spaced from the first connection terminal 9. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
