<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To predict generation of packet loss in real-time communication. <P>SOLUTION: The packet loss prediction device comprises: a packet observation part which observes packets transmitted on a network; a delay fluctuation calculation part which calculates a value of delay fluctuation from the transmission interval and reception interval of the packets; and an abnormality prediction part which predicts that a packet loss may be generated when the value of delay fluctuation continues for a first predetermined length or longer within an abnormal value range. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
