A system having two lens devices (10R, 10L), and capable of changing a base length in the lens devices (10R, 10L) is provided with: a knob (60) for indicating the degree of stereoscopic effect; and a base length calculation unit (52) that uses information representing the degree of stereoscopic effect indicated by the knob (60), and the shooting conditions of camera devices (20R, 20L) according to a subject to be photographed by the camera devices (20R, 20L) to which the lens devices (10R, 10L) are mounted, to calculate the optimum base length for obtaining three-dimensional image data suitable for the shooting conditions at the degree of stereoscopic effect indicated by the knob (60), and output the information. |
