<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dye-sensitized solar cell which uses, along with active carbon or porous carbon plate, etc., a rubber-like gel material derived from one or more constituent materials of a dye-sensitized solar cell by a high polymer absorber, thereby aiming to further increase conversion efficiency and extend life, and a manufacturing method thereof. <P>SOLUTION: The dye-sensitized solar cell is prepared as follows: one or more of titanium oxide, etc., dye and electrolyte is gelatinized by a high polymer absorber, which is then dried carefully not to impair its adhesiveness (viscoelasticity) to turn it into rubber-like gel or which is mixed with a high polymer absorber and is applied thereto vapor, mist, particulate, liquid state water or organic solvent, etc. and temperature appropriately to turn it into rubber-like gel. The rubber-like gel is then turned into particulate form, pulverized or otherwise retained intact before being subjected to a compression-condensation process including a thin-filming or a uniformizing step, whereby it is formed into a rubber-like gel material having elasticity or adhesiveness (viscoelasticity). The material is stacked along with porous carbon, etc. on top of each other to form a composition of a single layer, etc. to generate power, which is then accommodated in an enclosure made of plastic, etc., or which is further stacked one on top of another to form multiple layers as necessary. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
