DEVICE AND METHOD FOR DEODORIZATION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deodorizing device that has a drastically improved deodorizing performance, and also prevents the concentration of odor after treatment from fluctuating.

SOLUTION: In a deodorization system including a plurality of deodorizing devices configured to spray washing water to gas to be treated containing odor components so that the odor components are adsorbed to the washing water and removed from the gas to be treated, discharge purified gas, and electrolyze the water adsorbed with the odor components for purification, the plurality of deodorizing devices is arranged continuously in series. A basic component deodorizing device 10 is provided with an ion concentration adjuster for adjusting the concentration index of hydrogen ion of the washing water serving as an adsorbent at 6.5 or lower. An acid component deodorizing device 20 is provided with an ion concentration adjuster for adjusting the concentration index of hydrogen ion of the washing water serving as an adsorbent at 7.5 or higher.
