摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compound planetary gear mechanism miniaturized in an axial direction. <P>SOLUTION: According to the compound planetary gear mechanism 50, a plurality of first planetary gears 54 and a plurality of second planetary gear 56 are arranged while arranging the axial direction in a direction perpendicular to the axial direction of a motor shaft 32 by using an input side face gear 52 and an output side face gear 60. Further, an input side first tooth surface 64 and an input side second tooth surface 66 meshing with the plurality of first planetary gears 54 and the plurality of second planetary gears 56 are concentrically formed, thereby the plurality of first planetary gears 54 and the plurality of second planetary gears 56 are arranged on the same plane perpendicular to the axial direction of the motor shaft 32.
