A burner arrangement for a mobile heatable device has a burner (20) for generating a flame. The burner (20) leads into a combustion chamber (22). An exhaust gas line (24) with a defined first line length runs from the combustion chamber (22) to an exhaust gas outlet (42). A bypass line (38) bridges the exhaust gas line (24). The bypass line (38) has a second defined line length that is substantially shorter than the first line length.
