The present invention relates to a system and method for controlling a brake after a vehicle is parked, which can perform/maintain a braking function by means of an electronic stability program (ESP) without causing a deficiency in the remaining capacity of a battery in the event a handbrake is unstably applied and the vehicle thus slides and moves after the vehicle is parked. The method for controlling a brake after a vehicle is parked involves performing a brake function by means of an electronic stability program (ESP) upon the detection of an occurrence of a predefined vehicle-sliding phenomenon from vehicle information when a predefined vehicle-parked condition is satisfied and a handbrake is applied. The method of the present invention involves controlling, during the performance of the brake function, a specific vehicle condition and the charge of an internal battery device when the remaining capacity of a battery of the internal battery device is lower than a specific predefined threshold value. |
