IMAGE PROCESSING DEVICE AND METHOD

This technique relates to an image processing device and method in which an increase in processing time can be inhibited. The device is provided with: an information controller for obtaining, using only information belonging to a slice that includes a pixel of interest being processed, information required for the image processing of the pixel of interest obtained using reference information belonging to a pixel that is different from the pixel of interest; and an image processor for processing the image using the information obtained by the information controller. This disclosure can be applied to an image processing device.
