<p>The purpose of the present invention is to provide a copper alloy bar suitable for a battery connection tab material, which has a good balance among good tensile strength, electrical conductivity, repeated bendability and weldability. The present invention relates to an Sn-plated copper alloy bar for a battery tab for charging, which contains 2-12% by mass of Zn and 0.1-1.5% by mass of Sn with the balance made up of copper and unavoidable impurities. The Sn-plated copper alloy bar for a battery tab for charging has an aspect ratio of crystal grains in the thickness direction and in a direction parallel to the rolling direction of 0.1 or more, and is provided with a reflow Sn plating wherein the thickness of the Sn layer after reflow is 0.10-1.60 µm and the thickness of the Cu-Sn compound after reflow is 0.10-1.90 µm. This copper alloy bar is preferably provided with an Ni/Cu base plating or a Cu base plating, and has an electrical conductivity of 31-70% IACS, a number of bending repetitions of 2.5 or more in a 180° bending and bend-back test, and a tensile strength of 300-610 MPa.</p> |
