The invention relates to a nozzle (4), which has a fixed shape but is elastically deformable and which is provided at an opening of an air supply channel (3) of a wet splicing device. The nozzle (4) is temporarily elastically deformed by external forces, whereby limescale deposits are detached from the nozzle such that said limescale deposits can be removed. After the forces have been released, the nozzle (4) reassumes the original shape thereof.
