METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING ELECTRODE FOR ELECTROCHEMICAL ELEMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an electrode for an electrochemical element at low cost.

SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing an electrode for an electrochemical element comprises the steps of: manufacturing slurry of a mixture containing an active material; filling the communicating pores of an aluminum porous body with the slurry; and drying the filled slurry. In the step of manufacturing slurry, the slurry is made using water as a solvent. The aluminum porous body has an oxygen content of 3.1 mass% or lower at the surface quantitatively determined by EDX analysis at an acceleration voltage of 15 kV.
