<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lamp housing a connector and a cable inside its end part in order not to damage its appearance, while maintaining the same shape as a conventional fluorescent lamp, as well as a lighting system using the lamp. <P>SOLUTION: In the lamp provided with at least one light source, a first outer-shell cover for transmitting or diffusing light emitted from the light source, and a connector, the light source is incorporated inside the first outer-shell cover, a retention structure is provided at either end of the lamp for connection with a lighting fixture, a power source circuit for driving the light source is independent from the lamp, an electric output outputted from the power source circuit is fed to the lamp through the cable and the connector, the connector is housed inside the lamp, and a second outer-shell cover is provided at an outer shell of the lamp to cover a part of the connector and the cable. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
