<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ship propelled by two kinds of driving sources of an internal combustion engine and an electric motor, without largely changing an existing structure related to the internal combustion engine. <P>SOLUTION: This ship 1 includes a first propelling mechanism 4, at least one second propelling mechanism 5, and a hull 2. The first propelling mechanism 4 is constituted so as to generate thrust by the internal combustion engine. The second propelling mechanism 5 is constituted so as to generate thrust by the electric motor. The first propelling mechanism 4 and the second propelling mechanism 5 are arranged in the hull 2. The first propelling mechanism 4 and the second propelling mechanism 5 are mutually independent.
