<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ruler with which a long line can be beautifully and easily drawn and which can be miniaturized. <P>SOLUTION: The ruler includes a ruler body 2 and a sliding ruler 3 disposed freely slidably along the lower surface of the ruler body 2. A recessed part 5 which is opened from the edge surface of the ruler body 2 is formed on the lower surface of the ruler body 2. A guide groove 10 extended along a lining edge part 8 of the ruler body 2 is formed on the recessed part 5 and, at the same time, a part 11 to be guided which is freely slidably inserted to the guide groove 10 is formed on the upper surface of the sliding ruler 3. By bending the edge part of the guide groove 10, the sliding ruler 3 is allowed to slide from an insertion position where the sliding ruler 3 is inserted to the recessed part 5 to a projection position where a lining edge part 9 of the sliding ruler 3 is projected from one edge surface 13 of the ruler body 2 and continues with the lining edge part 8 of the ruler body 2 to be flush with the lining edge part 8 of the ruler body 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
