<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reliably and easily block an opening formed in the middle of an external tube concerning a stent delivery system. <P>SOLUTION: An external tube body 14 constituting the stent delivery system 10 includes a guide wire deriving hole 44 for deriving a guide wire 20 to an external part. The tapered part 60 of a sealing rod 52 is inserted into the guide wire deriving hole 44 to block the guide wire deriving hole 44. A stylet 56 to be put through the inner part of an internal tube body 12 is arranged at the distal end of the sealing rod 52, thereby to hold the internal tube body 12. When the indwelling work of a stent 16 is performed, the sealing rod 52 is removed from the guide wire deriving hole 44 to open the guide wire deriving hole 44. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
