<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radial tire for a motorcycle that can secure uniformity in arrangement of warps serving as a belt cord even after molding and vulcanizing processes, and also can improve processability and transient characteristics without any limitation on the number of cords, and to provide a method of manufacturing the radial tire for the motorcycle. <P>SOLUTION: The belt 2 has a leno structure in which a first warp 5a and a second warp 5b arranged in a tire circumferential direction tangle with each other to weave a weft 6 therebetween. The first warp 5a is made of aramid fibers, the second warp 5b is made of organic fibers, and the weft 6 is made of organic fibers other than the aramid fiber. The weaving number of warps made of aramid fiber is 30-50 for every 5 cm width. A tread layer has a base layer positioned radially inward of the tire, and a cap layer positioned radially outward of the same and corresponding to a grounding face when traveling. Rubber in the base layer is impregnated between the warps of the belt 2, and thus, the base layer and the belt 2 are integrally formed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
