<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition for a tire and a pneumatic tire, capable of enhancing an elastic modulus, fatigue resistance and a failure resistant characteristic, with satisfactory balance, without worsening rubber physical properties of vulcanized rubber, and capable of reducing rolling resistance by enhancing a low heating property. <P>SOLUTION: The rubber composition for the tire contains at least a rubber component, and an inorganic filler. In the inorganic filler, a repose angle is 40° or more, a Mohs' hardness is 2.0 or less, a BET specific surface area (BET 5)(m<SP POS="POST">2</SP>/g) is 10 m<SP POS="POST">2</SP>/g or more, a ratio (DBP)/(BET 5) of a dibutyl phthalate (DBP) absorption amount (ml/100g) to the BET specific surface area (BET 5)(m<SP POS="POST">2</SP>/g) is 2.0 or more, and a content of the inorganic filler is 0.5-50 pts.mass with respect to 100 pts.mass of the rubber component. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
