The collapsible hood (16) is extended from a frontal upper frame section of a windscreen up till a rear-sided area, particularly to a luggage compartment. A traction mechanism (46) is arranged in the area of the transition regions between a central horizontally extending hood region (40) and a lateral hood section (42). The traction mechanism is arch-shaped in the side elevation and prestressed resilient in vehicle longitudinal direction. The tension mechanism prestresses the hood region laterally outwards or downwards.
