The unit (10) has sleeve-like longitudinally slotted sealing elements (11) embracing end sections (15, 16) of fresh air pipes in a formfit manner. The opposite end sections are strutable against each other by a clamping element to reduce clearance of the sealing elements. The clamping element is manually designed as a tension clamp (25). The clamp is designed as a single-piece, and comprises tensioning clamp portions (29, 30) resiliently moved to each other and interconnected in a region of a connecting edge (31) of the unit. The clamp is made of plastic and coupled with the sealing elements.
