PURPOSE: A transdermal preparation containing a drug-containing matrix layer containing galantamine or pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof is provided to prevent crystallization of galantamine or salt thereof. CONSTITUTION: A transdermal preparation contains galantamine or salt thereof as an active ingredient and a drug-containing matrix layer containing styrene-butadiene-styrene copolymer or styrene-isoprene-styrene copolymers as an adhesive. The transdermal prepration comprises a drug-delivery matrix layer and a release layer. The drug-containing matrix layer contains 0.5-10 wt% of a penetration accelerator. The penetration accelerator is polyoxyethylene lauryl ether. The thickness of the drug-containing matrix layer is 50-100 um.
