HONEYCOMB EDGE PROTECTOR AND METHOD FOR MAKING SAME

A honeycomb edge protector and the method for making the same are disclosed. The honeycomb edge protector comprises a first protection plate (11) and a second protection plate (12), which are formed by dividing a honeycomb plate (1) along a sawtooth-shaped line into two plates coinciding with each other. Each protection plate has a straight side and an opposing sawtooth-shaped side. The straight sides of the first and second protection plates (11, 12) are connected to each other and the sawtooth-shaped sides thereof are free sides. The included angle between the two planes of the first and second protection plates (11, 12) is 0-180 degrees. The honeycomb edge protector of the present invention saves raw material without any reduction of protection area, effectively reduces cost, and presents simple production process and high production efficiency.
