<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of lifting or lowering upper stories of a multistoried building in a short time regardless of a type of the structure, using a jack inserted into a lower story. <P>SOLUTION: Halved hollow cylindrical blocks 20 are stacked up to the vicinity of a ceiling (a floor 2 of an upper story Fj) in a plurality of stages, at a plurality of positions on the floor 2 of a lower story Fv of a multistoried building 1, respectively. A load receiving jig 22 is vertically movably engaged with the hollow part of the stacked body of the blocks. A jack 10 is installed in the hollow part of the lowermost stage of each of the stacked bodies. An extension step including: locking the load receiving jig 22 to the lowermost block or the upper stage block thereof, extending the jack 10 for pushing up the blocks above the locked site, and supporting the load of the upper story Fj while assembling or removing the lowermost stage block; and a retraction step including: retracting the jack 10 for allowing the blocks above the locked site to be seated on the lowermost stage block or the floor, and relocating the load receiving jig 22 to the lowermost block or the upper stage block thereof; are repeated, so as to lift or lower the upper story Fj above the jack. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
