<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of a conventional data transfer apparatus which can be disabled to display images properly if a moving picture compression stream, encoded by an encoding method in which a picture size varies during reproduction, is decoded by a conventional processing method as it is. <P>SOLUTION: The data transfer apparatus according to the present invention is provided with: monitoring means which monitors access from a picture display apparatus to picture data stored in a storage apparatus, by acquiring address information flowing through a bus; identification means which identifies picture data the access on which from the picture display apparatus is completed, according to the acquired address information; and transfer means which transfers the picture data identified by the identification means to a predetermined address within the storage apparatus. This configuration makes it possible to transfer picture data remaining in the storage apparatus to a proper position without disturbing display by the picture display apparatus. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
