The absorber pipe (1) comprises tubular steel pipe (5) whose side portion (6) is coated with spectral coating (7) by vacuum strip coating process. The radius (R) of the tubular steel pipe is set in the range of 10-100mm. The tubular steel pipe is welded at the longitudinal edges (9) of metal plate (8). The thickness (W) of metal sheet is set in the range of 0.2-3.5 mm. The thickness (D) of spectral coating is set in the range of 50-500nm. An independent claim is included for method for manufacturing absorber pipe.
