A frame structure 50 of a saddle-ride type vehicle 1 comprises a head pipe 11, upper frames 12 and down frames 13 which extend rearward and downward from the head pipe 11; under frames 14 which extend rearward from the lower ends of the down frames 13; rear frames 15 which extend rearward and upward from the lower portion of the upper frames 12; and a swing unit 40 which has a power unit 45 and rotatably holds a rear wheel 25. The structure also includes pivot brackets 83 which connect the lower portion of the upper frames 12 and the rear portion of under frames 14, and are joined to the forward surface of the upper frames 12 along the direction in which the upper frames 12 extend.
