<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a system for monitoring radiation in the primary piping of a nuclear power plant which can measure with high accuracy and high sensitivity nuclides to be measured which adhere into the primary piping during the operation of the nuclear power plant. <P>SOLUTION: The device and the system are equipped with at least two radiation detectors which, through the agency of collimators, detect radiation containing cascadeγrays radiated by the nuclides to be measured which adhere to piping where a radioactive fluid flows and a radiation instrumentation processor which counts detection signals on the cascadeγrays detected by the radiation detectors approximately at the same time among detection signals on the radiation detected by the radiation detectors. A scope to be measured which is expected by the collimators placed in the radiation detectors is 1/2 or smaller of an inner area in the diameter direction of the piping present in the same plane as central axes of the collimators. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
