PURPOSE: A ceramic metal halide lamp and a lighting apparatus using the same are provided to improve efficiency by sealing iodide of halogen additive in a light emitting tube. CONSTITUTION: Conductor rods(11a,11b) are connected to a stem(12). The conductor rods are included in an internal tube(13). The internal tube is included in an external tube(14). The internal tube and the external tube are fixed to the stem. A shell part(15) is formed in the stem. One conductor rod is electrically connected to the leading end of the shell part. The other conductor rod is electrically connected to the side of the shell part.
