PURPOSE: A lid for a paper container capable of preventing the spilling of soup is provided to fasten the lid to the paper container using a nut-shaped fastener for preventing the leakage of the soup. CONSTITUTION: A paper container(C) comprises a lid(B) in a bolt shape(105), and a fastener(D) in a nut shape(104). An inlet(102) of the paper container is sealed by fastening the lid and the fastener. The lid in the bolt shape inserts into the inlet of the paper container. The fastener is attached to a protrusion on the inlet of the paper container by fitting the fastener from the lower side(106) of the paper container.
