PURPOSE: A monitoring system for a blast furnace is provided to secure a field of view for observing the inside of a furnace through a seethrough hole by blowing foreign matters out of the seethrough hole. CONSTITUTION: A monitoring system for a blast furnace comprises a housing(110) which is installed in a tuyere observation window and has a seethrough hole(112), a beam splitter(120) which splits the light entering through the tuyere observation window, a light transmission unit(130) receiving the first split light from the beam splitter and including a transmission window for showing the first split light, a camera unit(140) which is installed in a position where the second split light from the beam splitter is delivered and photographs the second split light, a cover unit(150) supporting the camera unit, and a foreign material removal unit(160) supplying foreign material removal gas into the housing to remove foreign materials remaining in the seethrough hole.
