PURPOSE: A device and a method for mounting a shield can are provided to inspect the mounting accuracy of the shield can by using a vision system installed in the shield can mounting device. CONSTITUTION: The location of a design feature point of a shield can is inputted based on a design value of the shield can. The location of an expected feature point on an equipment coordinate system of the shield can is calculated by a first vision system based on the inputted location of the design feature point. The shield can is mounted on a substrate using a shield can mounting device based on the location of the expected feature point on the equipment coordinate system. The location of a real feature point of the shield can is recognized by a second vision system.
