PURPOSE: A lens driving device and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to suppress the slope of an optical axis of a lens with regard to an imaging device when an operating body which maintains the lens stops. CONSTITUTION: An operating body maintains a lens and moves in an optical axis direction of the lens. A fixed body(4) movably maintains the operating body in the optical axis direction. A driving device(5) drives the operating body in the optical axis direction. An imaging device(2) is mounted on a substrate. The substrate is fixed to an image side of the fixed body. A plurality of protrusions(13d) are contacted with a mounting side(6a) of the imaging device and corrects the slope of an optical axis of the lens with regard to the imaging device.
