Scavenging pressure limiting valve in an hydrostatic transmission

The unit has a hydrostatic transmission with two hydrostatic units (23, 33) e.g. pump and motor, that are connected in a pressure fluid circuit. A feeding pump (80) conveys pressurized fluid from a pressure fluid reservoir i.e. oil sump (91), into the pressure fluid circuit. A pressure limiting valve i.e. proportional valve (94), connects an outlet port of the feeding pump to the pressure fluid reservoir. Limiting pressure of the limiting valve is adjustable, where the valve is opened during exceeding of the limiting pressure. A regulator circuit (93) is connected to the valve.
