PURPOSE: A variable building is provided to extend the living space because an inner space unit can be drawn out of an outer building unit. CONSTITUTION: A variable building(A) comprises an outer building unit(1), an inner space unit(2), a guide device(3), and a driving device(4). The outer building unit is fixed to the surface, open at one side, installed with a roof at the top, and provided with windows and a door. The inner space unit is inserted in the outer building unit and drawn out through the opening, and the inner space unit is installed with a plurality of wheels(21) at the bottom so as to move by the guide device. The guide device guides the movement of the inner space unit and comprises a first rail formed on the bottom of the outer building unit and a second rail formed on the ground to be connected to the first rail. The driving device drives the inner space unit and includes a plurality of gear trains(42) connected to the axles of the wheels and a power generator transmitting torque to the gear trains.
