PURPOSE: A home network coupling door lock system and a control method thereof are provided to effectively manage a home network function by checking final home network information using a smart key. CONSTITUTION: A LF(Low Frequency) signal is periodically generated(1). A smart key receives a starting signal in a predetermined section and performs a wake-up function(2). The activated smart key transmits an RF(Radio Frequency) signal requesting information of a wall pad to a digital door lock apparatus(3). The digital door lock apparatus transfers the RF signal to the wall pad(4). An RF signal including requested information among information saved in an internal memory of the wall pad is transferred to the digital door lock apparatus(5). The digital door lock apparatus transfers the RF signal to the smart key(6).
