PURPOSE: A content providing method using a virtual bookshelf is provided to easily use contents without constraints of time and space by building a database with the contents collected from a content provider. CONSTITUTION: A client selects one of virtual bookshelves(S110). The number of contents corresponding to the virtual bookshelf is set in an account of the client(S120). A content list is provided to the client(S130). If the contents are selected by the client, the contents are provided to the client(S140). Billing to the client is performed according to the number of the selected contents(S150).
