PURPOSE: A portable terminal and a calling method thereof are provided to set up a calling priority about each caller ID and to perform automatic call connection control about an important caller according to a predetermined call priority. CONSTITUTION: A comparing unit(112) receives a call connection request from a terminal device of a second caller ID in a call of a first caller ID. The comparing unit compares a call priority of the first caller Id and the second caller ID. A controlling unit(113) switches a terminal device of the first caller ID in a standby state. The controlling unit performs call connection with the terminal device of the second caller ID.
