PURPOSE: An electronic component is provided to suppress a vibrating sound of a substrate by setting the proportion of a leg length of a metal terminal and a leg thickness of the metal terminal over 6.4. CONSTITUTION: An electronic component(10) includes an electronic component main body(12). The electronic component main body includes a rectangular frame(14). The frame is composed of a plurality of stacked ceramic layers. The frame has a first main surface(18a) and a second main surface(18b) facing each other, a first side surface(20a) and a second side surface(20b) facing each other, and a first cross section(22a) and a second cross section(22b) facing each other. A corner(24) and a border(26) are roundly formed. The ceramic materials of the ceramic layer include accessory ingredients such as an Mn compound, an Mg compound, an Si compound, a Co compound, an Ni compound and a rare earth compound.
