PURPOSE: An apparatus for preventing dazzling is provided to improve work convenience and to enable a user to rapidly execute a self test mode through one touch input. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for preventing dazzling comprises a light detection unit(20), an electromagnetic wave detection unit(30), an electromagnetic wave sensor(31), a self-diagnosis command input unit(41), a control unit(50), and a light transmission control unit(60). The light detection unit detects the light created from a welding or cutting torch. The electromagnetic wave detection unit compares a resonated signal with a standard value. The electromagnetic wave sensor senses the electromagnetic wave created from the welding or cutting torch. The control unit monitors the change of an inputted electromagnetic wave signal. The light transmission control unit controls the change of the light transmission of an anti-glare plate.
