PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain an excessive temperature rise caused by a variation in a characteristic with every glow plug with a simple constitution, in heating current-carrying to the glow plug. SOLUTION: This invention provides a glow plug control device for controlling the temperature of a plurality of glow plugs with the preset target temperature as a target value, by operating electric power supplied to the plurality of glow plugs. This glow plug control device has a resistance value measuring part for measuring an initial resistance value being respective resistance values before the heating current-carrying of the plurality of glow plugs, and a supply electric power operation part for operating the electric power supplied to the plurality of respective glow plugs, with a target resistance value set in response to the initial resistance value, the target temperature and a resistance temperature factor as a target value of the respective resistance values of the plurality of glow plugs, at the temperature in an operation range of the preset glow plug. The supply electric power operation part regards the specific temperature in the operation range as the common temperature of the plurality of glow plugs before the heating current-carrying of the plurality of glow plugs.
