PURPOSE: An ultraviolet irradiator and an ultraviolet irradiating device using the same are provided to properly maintain temperature in the inside of an ultraviolet irradiator even though a tinted glass is not provided and to accurately and efficiently irradiate to a target object with only desired ultraviolet region components. CONSTITUTION: An ultraviolet irradiator comprises a housing(2), an ultraviolet ray lamp, a water cooling jacket, a reflective plate, a heat purging mechanism, and a heat transmitting member. The heat purging mechanism purges heat of the reflective plate, thereby emitting the heat to outside of the housing. The heat transmitting member transmits the heat in the inside of the housing to the heat purging mechanism so that the heat purging mechanism emits the heat. The ultraviolet ray lamp, the water cooling jacket, and the reflective plate are mounted in the inside of the housing. The ultraviolet rays directly emitted from the ultraviolet lamp and reflecting lights reflected by the reflective plate are irradiated to the outside of the housing.
