The present invention provides a solid builder composition comprising an alkali metal carbonate, an alkali metal silicate, calcium carbonate, and soap, wherein the soap is in form of particles comprising at least 50% by weight soap and wherein at least 80% by weight of the soap particles are retained on sieve of 70 mesh. Said builder composition was found to provide relatively faster building kinetics than known builder compositions of the prior art. |
