PRECIPITATION GAUGE CROSSING THE DRAINING

PURPOSE: A drainage crossing type rain gauge is provided to continuously measure rainfall by automatically opening and closing a solenoid valve. CONSTITUTION: A drainage crossing type rain gauge includes a pair of rain gauges(100), a controlling part(200), a heating part(300), a temperature sensor, and a draining pipe. The rain gauges alternately repeatedly measure rainfall using load cells. A plurality of controlling switches is formed in the controller part, and an indicator(220) is installed at the adjacent part of the controlling switches. The heating part is composed of a heater(310), a heating pipe(320), and a heating distributing pipe(330). The heater is adjacent to the rain gauges. The temperature sensor measures the internal temperature of the rain gauges. Rainfall from the rain gauges is discharged through the draining pipe.
