The container (1) has an inner part (2) made of a moldable, thermo-formable and/or deep-drawn material i.e. plastic material, and a renewable, biodegradable and/or recycled raw material. A shell-shaped outer part (3) partially surrounds a periphery of the inner part, and is made of a renewable, biodegradable and/or recycled raw material. Upper- and/or open ends of the inner part and the outer part comprise rounded or rolled edges (6) when viewed in a cross-section. A lid or cover film is sealed and/or mounted on the rounded or rolled edge. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a packaging container. |
