<p>The slab has steel dowels (1) including a smooth longitudinal surface and a constant cross section having diameter in a range between 15mm and 60mm, where 50 percent of parts of the dowels are covered with a casing (3) made of heat-shrink polymer material. The casing comprises an inner longitudinal face spaced from less than 1mm of the longitudinal surface of the dowel. The inner longitudinal face has less adhesion on the surface of the dowel so as to peel-off a cut small band in the casing with force less than 500 Newton. An independent claim is also included for a method for constructing a concrete slab.</p> |
