PURPOSE: A content playing method is provided to supply desired contents to a user paying for the contents by recognizing one or more parts of the contents. CONSTITUTION: A control module(210) controls data flow and performs necessary calculation. A first content DB(database)(220) includes first contents which a terminal(100) requests. The first contents are which a user wants to play. A content providing system(200) provides a list about one or more parts of the contents included in the first content DB to the terminal.
