PURPOSE: An electric heating unit and an electric heating apparatus using the same are provided to maintain the temperature of a heat medium for a long time as a fan or a pump is operated after a ceramic ball or a metal lump is heated. CONSTITUTION: An electric heating unit(20) comprises one or more heaters(2) and a heating tank. A heat medium and lumps are embedded in the heating tank. The lumps are made of materials for maintaining the temperature of the heat medium for a long time. The lumps are one of the gravel, ceramic balls, and metal lumps.
