Elastic rubber door seal strip

The profile (10) has a sealing region (26) providing sealing against a sealing surface (28), which is turned towards a lower edge of a vehicle door (12), during closing of the door and a retracted entry aid i.e. retractable step. The sealing region is designed such that a seal effect is obtained in a direction of the aid. The vehicle door is closed in a horizontal direction by the entry aid, which is moved in a vertical direction of the profile during closing of the vehicle door. The sealing region is formed by a hollow chamber element.
