PURPOSE: An organic electroluminescent display device and a driving method thereof are provided to prevent elements of the organic electroluminescent display device from damaging by preventing the generation of an excessive surge current. CONSTITUTION: A power drive unit(170a) receives first to fourth power control signals(SC1-SC4). The power drive unit outputs a first power and a second power. The power drive unit includes a first power generator(210a) and a second power generator(220a). The first power generator generates the first power by receiving the first and second power control signals. The first power generator includes a first transistor(TR1), a second transistor(TR2) and a first resistor(R1) connected to a gate electrode of the second transistor. |
